Greeting in His Name,

This article is a rerun that I know will benefit your soul. I hope that as you have moved into the second quarter of this year that things are well with your mind, body, soul, and spirit. With that being said, today's blog is entitled Dream B.I.G.; I hope you find some inspiration, conviction, and queries.

shalom and love,

heidi

Tell Your Dream. Genesis 37:6, 9-10

It is funny that often when God has given great revelation, people will tell us to keep it to ourselves and don’t share it with anyone unless they are in our corner. But, I have found from this verse of scripture that it is best to sound it aloud and interrupt the devil and his plans by NOT keeping it hush-hush. Suppose God stirred your sleeping hours with revelation; why not share. It may be setting the course of God's actions on your behalf. So I say, “Go yell it!” And watch God work His plan.

Beware! Opposition May Come. Genesis 37:8, 10

Regardless of the opposition, know that God is with you if any comes. Yes, hearts may get hard, and people may walk away, but God's dream is not their reality. It’s yours—Walk through the process with great confidence that God gave it; that settles it.

If God Gave It, It Will Come to Pass. Genesis 37:11, 41:39-46.

I am sure that Joseph didn’t know all the details behind what he would experience in his dreams coming to pass, still if God gave us all the details, we would curtail and move in another direction forfeiting ‘the adversity experience.’ If Joseph knew that he would be thrown in a pit, sold into slavery, accused of rape, and incarcerated, the outcome may have been very different. The same for us, walking through the process to see the great reward at the end brings about a great appreciation that God was with us all the time and that he deemed it wonderful to ‘consider’ us for the task ahead.

Has God given you a dream, a vision, a promise? Don’t curtail – forge ahead and believe that in the midst of it all. IT WILL COME TO PASS!

LIFE QUOTE

“An invincible determination can accomplish almost anything, and in this lies the great distinction between great men and little men."

-Thomas Fuller

Let Us Laugh!

A bored young man decided life would be better with a pet. So he bought a 100-legged, talking centipede. One day he decided to ask the centipede to come to church. He asked three times, and the last time, as he shouted; the centipede said, "I heard you the first time; I was putting on my shoes." (https://www.beliefnet.com/prayables/joke/church-jokes.aspx)
